Family of Missing Celtic Fan Continues Search for Answers

The family of thirty-three-year-old Gary Shearer, who disappeared on holiday in Lanzarote two years ago, are to return to the island as the search continues regarding his case.

Gary disappeared shortly after arriving in the Canary Islands for St Patrick’s Day celebrations in 2023.

His family are due to meet with Guardia Civil in an effort to reopen the investigation.

His last known whereabouts were being seen unconscious in a doorway after visiting a bar in Puerto del Carmen, and then being seen on CCTV with an unknown man.

The family have called for anyone with information regarding Mr. Shearer to contact Guardia Civil.
