Senate summons Interior Minister to explain Ceuta crisis

The Senate has again summoned Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska to appear before its Interior Committee on Thursday, to explain his ministry’s handling of the Ceuta migration crisis.

The hearing is scheduled for eleven o’clock in the morning.

Marlaska was previously due to appear but did not attend, and the government has indicated that he will not appear this week either.

The Senate, where the PP has an absolute majority, has now set a new date for his appearance.
