Zapatero lawyers seek clarification over evidence

The lawyer representing José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero asked a judge to clarify how US authorities obtained data from the mobile phone of the owner of Plus Ultra.

The request forms part of the investigation into the airline’s rescue package.

The defence argues the court must establish the origin and legality of the information before it can be used in the case.

Mr. Zapatero denies any wrongdoing.
