Police shut down major forgery laboratory producing identity and travel documents

Policia Nacional have shut down a highly sophisticated forgery laboratory producing false identity and travel documents for use across Europe.

Officers seize printers, laminates, holograms and hundreds of completed documents. Investigators say the network supplies criminal groups involved in fraud, trafficking and illegal migration.

Several people have been arrested, and the operation remains open as police track clients in other countries.
