Report shows rise in discrimination complaints in early 2026
A new report from Oberaxe, the government’s anti‑discrimination observatory, shows an increase in complaints on social media during the first quarter of 2026.
Most cases relate to discrimination on grounds of ethnic origin, followed by incidents involving nationality and religion.
The Ministry of Inclusion says the findings underline the need for continued training, awareness campaigns and support services for victims.
Officials say the government remains committed to promoting equal treatment and combating hate incidents.
