Vox open to coalition with PP in Castilla y León

Vox has opened the door to allowing the PP to take the presidency of the Castilla y León parliament, provided the position does not fall to the PSOE.

The party says it is willing to “facilitate” a PP candidate to prevent what it calls a left‑wing institutional takeover, though it insists that any broader agreements will still depend on programme commitments.

The PP has welcomed the shift, saying it hopes the move will help stabilise the regional political landscape.

Negotiations will continue ahead of the opening session of the new legislature.
