Ángel Víctor Torres named in Koldo case probe

Guardia Civil have said they have raised concerns over the actions of the former President of the Canary Islands – Ángel Víctor Torres – saying they believe he sought payments for a company awarded mask contracts irregularly.

In a comprehensive report comprising approximately three hundred pages, Guardia Civil’s UCO team presented findings to the Audiencia Nacional as part of the ongoing Koldo Case.

According to the UCO, Torres’s engagement in this matter was influenced by Koldo García, who was reportedly in a position to request these payments due to his connections.

All deny any wrongdoing, the case continues.
