Storms Cause Widespread Disruptions at Balearic Airports

Severe storms in the Balearic Islands led to widespread flight cancellations and delays yesterday.

Palma de Mallorca Airport recorded eighteen cancellations and over two hundred delays, while Ibiza Airport saw twelve flights cancelled.

An amber weather alert for rain continues to remain in place for the archipelago, after a day of disruption due to torrential rains across the east coast of Spain and the Balearics.
