Unemployment in Spain Sees Modest Increase in August 2025

The number of unemployed people in Spain rose by twenty-one thousand nine hundred and five in August, reaching a total of 2.4 million.

Despite this increase, the annual unemployment rate has decreased significantly.

Meanwhile, the number of contracts registered reached over one million, with 37% of those classified as indefinite.
