PP Leader Proposes Constitutional Change Over Budget Extensions

Partido Popular leader Alberto Núñez Feijóo has proposed a legal change that would automatically dissolve parliament if budget extensions are granted twice.

In a press conference yesterday, the opposition leader criticised year-on-year budget extensions as a mockery, calling for next years budgets to be formally approved by the Congress of Deputies.

Feijóo also dismissed Pedro Sánchez’s proposed climate change agreement as lacking credibility.
