Parents Sentenced for Repeated Sexual Abuse of Daughters

A court in Gran Canaria has sentenced a man and a woman to 36-years and 33-years in prison for the sexual assault and production of indecent videos of their children.

The court heard that the pair abused their daughters over a 3 year period from 2019 when the girls were only 4 and 5 years of age.

Video’s seized by police in raids on the parents home were used as evidence, after the father made a plea-bargain for a reduced sentence.

The jury rejected claims that the mother was suffering from substance abuse, and found both guilty of serious sexual assault.

Both adults have been stripped of their legal rights as parents of all their children, and will have to pay €100,000 to each child in damages.
