Santos Cerdán to appear before court on Monday

Former PSOE secretary – Santos Cerdán – will appear in court today under investigation in the Koldo case, accused of facilitating illicit payments in public contracts.

The court will examine recordings between Cerdán and other officials who are also under investigation.

The case is centred around recorded conversations between Cerdán, former Transport Minister José Luis Ábalos, and advisor Koldo García discussing payments to third parties.

Mr. Cerdán, as well as all those under investigation deny any wrongdoing.
