In May, the Consumer Price Index – or IPC – which measures the cost of living, saw a drop to two percent, marking three consecutive decreases.
This decline in inflation was attributed to cheaper tourism packages and stabilised electricity prices.
However, food prices, particularly fruits, surged to two point five percent.
The core inflation rate also fell slightly to two point two percent, remaining two tenths above the general IPC rate.
