A British woman is among three people who have been arrested in connection with the shooting of a far-right politician earlier this month. Co-founder of Vox, Alejandro Vidal-Quadras, was shot in the face in Madrid on the 9th November. ERC, EH Bildu, and BNG have requested the creation of a commission of investigation into alleged espionage using the Pegasus spy system. Sixty-five politicians, activists, journalists, and lawyers allegedly targeted due to their connection to Catalan or Basque independence movements. The groups argue that the alleged espionage undermines fundamental rights and call for clarification of the alleged misuse of public resources for political persecution.

Partido Popular leader Alberto Núñez Feijóo has accused Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez of creating a diplomatic conflict over Palestine.
