Guardia Civil launch search after possible lion sighting

Guardia Civil has launched a search operation in El Real de San Vicente, Toledo, after a member of the public reported a possible sighting of a lion.

Officers from Seprona, supported by aerial resources, are searching the area to establish whether a large animal was actually present.

Authorities say there has been no confirmation that a lion is loose in the area, and the operation is based on the reported sighting.
