Spain receives latest round of EU recovery fund

The European Commission has paid Spain 6.234 billion euros under the sixth instalment of the country’s Recovery Plan.

The payment includes 5.226 billion euros in grants and 1.008 billion in loans.

The government says Spain has now received around 78 billion euros from the European recovery programme, after meeting 338 milestones and targets.
