€1.23 billion investment for Asturias data campus

A €1.226 billion investment has been announced for what will become one of Europe’s largest data campus developments in Salas, Asturias.

The project is expected to create thousands of jobs during construction and operation, significantly boosting the regional economy while strengthening Spain’s digital infrastructure.

The government says the development represents a major vote of confidence in Spain as a destination for technology investment and will support the country’s growing demand for artificial intelligence, cloud computing and data services.
