Valencian parliament approves budget

The Valencian Parliament has approved the regional government’s 2026 budget after PP secured the backing of Vox.

The agreement introduces the principle of “national priority” into regional legislation, affecting eligibility criteria for some areas of public assistance and housing policy.

The budgets were approved despite opposition from PSOE and Compromís, which criticised the measures and said they are considering legal action.
