VIDEO: British fugitive arrested in Alicante as Spain joins UK ‘Most Wanted’ campaign

Police in Alicante have arrested a British fugitive wanted by authorities in the United Kingdom.

The 31‑year‑old man was detained in the city centre after officers identified him during a routine check.

He was the subject of an international arrest warrant for drug‑related offences linked to an organised‑crime network.

The arrest comes as Spain formally joins a new UK campaign to locate twelve of Britain’s most‑wanted criminals, several of whom are believed to be hiding in Spain.

The Interior Ministry says cooperation with British police remains “constant and effective”, and that joint operations will continue across the country.
