Criminal network using fake documents to bring foreign workers into Spain dismantled

Policía Nacional has dismantled a criminal network that brought foreign workers into Spain using false documentation.

The organisation allegedly specialised in forging residence permits and employment contracts to place migrants in sectors such as agriculture and construction.

Several people have been arrested, and officers seized computers, mobile phones and large quantities of falsified paperwork.

Investigators say the network operated across multiple regions and charged victims significant sums for documents that offered no legal protection.
