Government Approves New Environmental and Water‑Security Measures After Council of Ministers Meeting
The government has approved a new package of measures following yesterday’s Council of Ministers meeting, with a focus on environmental protection, water security and cultural policy.
Ministers gave the green light to the initial expansion of the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park and authorised emergency works to restore water supply infrastructure in Hellín after January’s severe storms.
The Cabinet also approved the new Spanish Sign Language Diplomas, updated the regulations governing Patrimonio Nacional and endorsed a series of agreements on rail‑infrastructure integration in Cantabria.
The government says the measures reflect its commitment to environmental resilience, accessibility and modernisation of public services.
