Housing market shows strength in 2025

New data suggests continued strength in the housing market.

Figures from the Instituto Nacional de Estadística show home sales rose by 7.8 per cent in November, reaching their highest level for that month since 2007.

Second-hand properties accounted for most transactions, and overall sales in 2025 are now on course to reach their highest annual total in nearly two decades.
