Emergency Vaccination Zone Extended Against Contagious Nodular Dermatitis

The Ministry of Agriculture has submitted a plan to the European Union to expand the emergency vaccination zone for contagious nodular dermatitis in cattle.

Currently, eighteen outbreaks have been confirmed since the first detection on the 3rd October, covering over two thousand farms.

If approved, the new zone will include additional regions in Catalonia and Aragon, with over three hundred and sixty-nine thousand animals involved in the scheme.
