Spanish Government Remains Hopeful for Cooperation with Junts

The government has said it is maintaining an optimistic stance towards Junts following their recent split with PSOE.

Yesterday, Government spokesperson Pilar Alegría affirmed their commitment to continuing dialogue and fulfilling agreements made as part of a confidence and supply arrangement.

There is growing pressure on the Government to pass the latest proposed budget, which is currently under negotiation and debate in the Congress of Deputies.
