Spanish Government Stresses Dialogue Despite Junts Tensions

The Government has reiterated its commitment to dialogue with Junts per Catalunya following tensions between both parties.

Officials from PSOE say that whilst they respect Junts’ decision to move to opposition benches, they believe in negotiation remains crucial for both Catalonia and Spain.

Coalition partner, Sumar, also expressed optimism regarding the potential for reaching an understanding with Junts.

Despite acknowledging potential challenges, the Government aims to continue cooperation over their legislative agenda.
