Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has announced a robust anti-corruption package featuring fifteen new measures.
Key elements include stiffer penalties for corruption offences, an independent anti-corruption agency, and specialised judges to deal with corruption cases.
Mr. Sánchez said the proposals aim to increase transparency and restore trust following a recent string of scandals involving his party members.
The proposed reforms have been developed in collaboration with coalition partners and the OECD.
